Swap Checklist
Planning a swap can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. By using our swap checklist we help you ask the right questions and keep track of what you have left to do. Feel free to print out the list and tick it off as you go. This is not an exhaustive list, however it should get you started.
- Our dates match with the other swapper.
- We know where the front door key will be kept.
- We have swapped a house rules / instruction manual (If you don't have one, check out our creating a home manual how-to)
- The WIFI / Internet passwords have been shared with each other.
- We have swapped contact details with our swappers, including any new international phone numbers or emails that work overseas if required.
- Emergency contact details have been swapped. E.g. A local family member to help should something go wrong.
- Burglar alarm codes and other entry keycards or similar have been discussed and provided where needed.
- We have swapped pet care instructions or these aren't required.
- We have discussed what to do at the end of the swap. (Cleaning / laundry / beds)
- I have put away my valuable items in a safe place.
